Terms
Last updated 17 August 2026
These terms cover your use of DARI. They do not replace the rental contract you sign through it — that is an agreement between you and the other party, and it is governed by Jordanian law.
What DARI is
DARI registers rental contracts, verifies the identity of the people signing them, and keeps a tamper-evident record of what was agreed. It is not a party to your contract, not your delegate, and not an owner, tenant or broker.
Your account
One person, one account. Verification is through Sanad, which issues against a national identity, so an account cannot be shared or transferred.
You are responsible for what is signed from your account. A signature made with your verified identity is legally binding under Electronic Transactions Law 15/2015.
Money
DARI charges a contract fee — the platform fee plus the government stamp duty — presented as one bill through eFAWATEERcom. Partial payment is refused; the bill is paid in full or it is not paid.
DARI never collects rent. Rent goes directly from the tenant to the owner's own account, and DARI records what the tenant declares and what the owner confirms. A record here is evidence of what the parties said, not a receipt from us.
What we do not promise
We do not verify that a property is habitable, that a rent is fair, or that either party will behave well. We verify identity, verify ownership through the Department of Lands and Survey, and record what was agreed.
We do not give legal advice. A registered contract is not a substitute for reading it.
Suspension
We may suspend an account we believe is being used to impersonate somebody, to register a contract over property the registrant does not hold, or to break Jordanian law. Contracts already registered stay registered.
